Lanier’s Antiques historic downtown kissimmee
108 Broadway • Kissimmee •

OWN: Business pet peeve?
LANIER: Lack of follow through whether it’s attending an agreed upon meeting or returning a phone call.

OWN: Guilty Pleasure?
LANIER: Watching the Bravo Channel with a big container of Publix Rum Raisin ice cream.

OWN: A cause you are most passionate about?
LANIER: Preserving and promoting the culture and heritage of our beautiful Osceola County. I do this as President of our Downtown Business Association of Kissimmee, promotions chair of Kissimmee Main Street and board member of the Osceola County Historical Society.

OWN: One thing you would like people to know about you?
LANIER: I capably balance my acute optimism with a realist attitude. In other words, I may be somewhat of a Pollyanna, but I know how the world works. It’s not always good, but with faith I can do all things.

OWN: Favorite way to stay in shape?
LANIER: Working at our family antiques store helping customers and keeping things tidy. Moving furniture really burns calories!

OWN: What is your favorite thing about Osceola County?
LANIER: The untouched land. There is nothing more beautiful than a sunrise or sunset on Osceola County pastureland with a herd of cattle lazily grazing.

OWN: Favorite hobby?
LANIER: Traveling and visiting the small towns and downtowns throughout this beautiful country with my partner. I especially love to learn about local people, try local foods and discover their museums and nature parks
