The Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund was the big winner, at the Second Annual Skirts and Spurs Fundraiser, held April 9. Well over 250 attendees showed up, at the KVLS Pavilion, on the grounds of Osceola Heritage Park in conjunction with the RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo in Kissimmee, Fla.
Ricky Booth, a local school board member and cattleman, was the auctioneer. The highest selling auction item was a beautiful Texas Longhorn painting by local artist Linda Ballentine Brown. RNCFR barrel racing contestants participated as models wearing fashions from local retailers, Branded B Boutique, Western Spirit, www.wrangler.com and www.justinboots.com, as well as locally owned websites www.southernsoulsboutique.com, and www.dreamgypsies.com
The event raised $33,000 for JCCF, as well as silent and live auctions were conducted for donated items. What a Great cause! Great people! Great Fun! This brings the two-year total to $63,000.
